Abstract

This volume is the second installment in the TARch series, developed by lecturers of the Department of Chemical and Food Technology at Politeknik Tun Syed Nasir Syed Ismail. It builds upon the foundational skills taught in Volume 1 by guiding students through the later stages of academic research, including writing results and discussion, drawing conclusions, and preparing final reports.

Designed for Diploma Semester 5 and Foundation in Engineering Technology Semester 2, this module emphasizes a student-centered learning approach and integrates AI tools like ChatGPT for writing support. Chapters cover structured academic writing formats, interpretation of research findings, and presentation techniques. It includes templates, sample writings, and detailed instructions to help students complete and present their research with academic rigor and clarity.

The module is part of a holistic system that includes Volumes 1 & 2 and the TARch Progression Form, offering a complete research teaching toolkit for educators and students alike.
