| Abstract: | Introduction to Accounting for Islamic-Based Transactions (Quick & Easy Notes) is designed to support the teaching and learning of Islamic accounting for diploma-level students and lecturers. This book is written in clear and simple language to help students understand fundamental accounting concepts from an Islamic perspective, in line with the Malaysian Polytechnic syllabus. The contents focus on five (5) main topics: Overview of Islamic Financial Institutions, Accounting and the Islamic Worldview, Islamic Accounting and the Regulatory Framework, Accounting for Assets, and Accounting for Liabilities. Each topic is introduced simply, covering the right amount of information while highlighting Shariahcompliant principles, ethical values, and basic accounting practices in Islamic transactions. To reinforce learning, each topic includes at least ten (10) structured questions that aim to strengthen understanding, encourage classroom discussion, and support revision. Overall, this book is intended to complement lectures and main references, facilitate effective classroom delivery, and enhance students’ understanding of accounting for Islamic-based transactions. |
