Abstract

MICE FOR TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY covers the basic knowledge and competencies of planning and management skills of Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition in tourism and hospitality industry. Students are required to prepare MICE activities which can benefit the organization environmentally. This course also covers the operational, marketing planning, risk management and evaluation of MICE activities through tourism and hospitality industry. The chapters in this book are aligned with the most recent syllabus recommended by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia's department of Polytechnic and Community College Education. I hope that this book will assist all Polytechnic students, particularly those pursuing a diploma in tourism and hospitality, in comprehending and grasping the fundamental concepts of customer service, end-user suggestions for improving the coverage and content of this e-book are most welcome.
