Abstract: This project focuses on the design and development of a Portable Tungsten Grinder Machine to address the need for a more efficient, precise, and safe method of grinding tungsten electrodes used in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding. Conventional grinding methods often result in inconsistent angles, contamination, and safety risks due to manual handling.
Description: This final year project presents the development of a portable tungsten grinder machine designed by students of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Politeknik Mukah.
