INTERACTIVE JAVA PROGRAMMING

Abstract

Interactive Java Programming module introduces students to the knowledge of Graphical User Interface (GUI) programming in Java. This module addresses on the creation of GUIs through standalone front-end applications and web-based application. This module also focuses primarily on the Swing library, Abstract Window Toolkit (AWT) and also equips students with knowledge in the development of database applications and webbased solutions. The module aiming on the skills to create a user interfaces for an interactive java programming, design a program that integrates the database application, and be a reference for students to produce an interactive application program using appropriate Java programming environment. Through this module, students may demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and solve problems within realistic constraints by applying knowledge, principles and skills in Information Technology (IT).
