Abstract

COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH 2 emphasises the skills required at the workplace to describe products or services as well as processes, procedures and instructions, and making and handling enquiries and complaints. This e-book discusses Products and Services that is one of the four topics covered in COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH 2 for polytechnic students in Malaysia. This book help students to describe a product or service effectively by highlighting its features, functions and characteristics. The activities presented in this e-book are suitable for individual, small group or whole class learning situations.

After completing this e-book, students should be able to: ▪ Discuss the features, characteristics and functions of a product or service ▪ Describe the types and functions of products or services ▪ Differentiate features, characteristics and functions of products and services ▪ Ask for and make clarifications on products and services ▪ Present a product or service in pairs/groups.
