Abstract

This handbook will serve not onlyas a reliable point of reference but also as a valuablecompanion throughout the students’ journey in the Diplomain Civil Engineering Programme. On this occasion, we would like to extend our sincereappreciation to the Head of Programme (Civil Engineering)and all dedicated members of the Civil EngineeringDepartment, Polytechnic Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah(PSSAAS), for their invaluable contributions, guidance, andknowledge-sharing in ensuring the success of this handbook.In line with our commitment to nurturing holistic graduates,we strongly encourage our students to actively participate inco-curricular activities, particularly within uniformed bodies,as a means of cultivating discipline, leadership, andteamwork.We are confident that, with the quality courses offered bythe Civil Engineering Department, this programme willcontinue to produce graduates of excellence, professionallycompetent, ethically grounded, and ready to contributetowards the advancement of our beloved nation.
