| Abstract: | Massive and outsourced structure of cloud data puts lots of limitations on traditional cryptography. Communication bandwidth, memory consumption and computational power are major concerns in cloud computing environment. Moreover confidentiality and flexible data sharing are main challenges related to multitenant cloud data. Attribute based cryptography, which is a part of applied cryptography, is emerging as a promising solution to all above problems related to cloud data. In this paper we are providing an overview of attribute based cryptography and its applications in various sectors. |
