TOURISM PROJECT COMPILATION : DTM 50174 TOURISM PROJECT DIPLOMA IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT

Abstract

Deepest gratitude to Allah SWT for the permission granted to compiling the students’ project under the theme of Geopark Engagement Programs throughCommunity Based Tourism as to fulfill the course requirement of DTM 50174 -Tourism Project. It is with immense pride and admiration that we present thiscollection, showcasing the invaluable contributions made by young minds towardsthe development and conservation of our treasured geoparks.Special thanks to Perlis State Economic Planning Division (BPEN) for the endlesssupport throughout the journey in completing the projects. The attention given tothe project has captured the essence of celebration and acknowledgement for thestudents' contributions. Hopefully, this little contribution in the name of education and communityengagement will inspire the society to foster a sense of pride and ownership intaking an active role in the stewardship of their environment, especially in ensuringPerlis Geopark flourish for Visit Perlis 2024-2025 and for the future generations. Our deepest appreciation to Perlis State Economic Planning Division (BPEN), Perlis Nature Explorers, local communities at all the selected geosites and agencies for theeffortless cooperation, collaboration and connection in helping the Diploma inTourism students to bring invaluable insights and passion to the table.
