Ungku Omar Polytechnic is a polytechnic situated at Jalan Dairy, Ipoh which was named after the Ungku Omar bin Ungku Ahmad. It was established by the Malaysian Ministry of Education with help from UNESCO in 1969. It also received RM24.5 million funding from the United Nations Development Programme
