Abstract: In the face of increasing global disruptions and environmental challenges, smart industrial ecosystems must evolve to be more resilient and sustainable. This paper explores how the integration of intelligent technologies—such as artificial intelligence, IoT, and cyber-physical systems—with dynamic operations strategies can address these dual imperatives. Emphasis is placed on the synergistic role of real-time decision making, adaptive supply chain models, and data-driven resource optimization. We analyse contemporary frameworks and propose a hybrid model that leverages intelligent automation and responsive operational planning to strengthen both resilience and sustainability. The proposed framework is supported by a structured literature review and a system flowchart to illustrate decision pathways and impact zones.
