| Abstract: | This e-book entitled “ Writing a C Program using Codeblocks” concentrates on the use of the Codeblock to write the C program. However, some other c compiler can be used as well as it is compatible. This e-book is useful for beginners; the students from polytechnics, college or university who wish to learn the basic before they can explore more in programming. This e-book is divided into seven chapters. Chapter 1 gives a brief description of the C language and its use. This chapter includes some background on the history of the language. Chapter 2 will explain the installation process of Codeblocks software. Codeblocks is used in this book as a compiler because Code Blocks is a great tool for beginners who want to get started coding or for those looking for a way to improve their skills. The algorithms such as pseudocode and flowchart will be discussed in Chapter 3. Chapter 4 introduce a simple C statement and gives you enough information to write a very simple program. Basic variables and the assignment statement are covered in detail, along with arithmetic operators +, -, *, /, and %. Chapter 5 deals with the control statements which explains the syntax, flowchart and the program examples so that reader can understand better. Chapter 6 focuses on user-defined function in C while array will be discussed in Chapter 7. It shows how the data is stored in several types of array. |
