Wireless communication systems are technologies that allow for the transmission of data over a distance without the use of physical cables or wires. These systems use electromagnetic waves to send information from one point to another. There are several key components and concepts involved in wireless communication systems. Key components for wireless communication are Transmitter, Receiver, Antennas and Channel or Transmission Medium. Transmitter converts data into an electromagnetic signal suitable for transmission. The receiver captures the transmitted signal and converts it back into the original data. Both transmitters and receivers use antennas to convert electrical signals into electromagnetic waves and vice versa. Channel is the medium through which the signal travels. This could be air, free space, or another transmission medium. Example of Wireless Communications System applications are Bluetooth and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Bluetooth is a short-range communication technology used for exchanging data between devices over short distances, typically up to 100 meters. RFID is a technology used to automatically identify and track objects, animals, or people using radio waves. Besides that, categories of Wireless Communication are WPAN, WLAN, WMAN and WWAN.ms_IN
