D-19 turned our world around. Privacy, health care, our social life, intimacy, our environment and public places, our life had to be reshaped to deal with the deadly virus. The Student Admission and Development Division, Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education, in collaboration of Malaysian Polytechnic Communication Enhancement Council (MPCEC), Politeknik Kuching Sarawak and Kelab Debat and Pengucapan Awam POLIKU, organize a short story writing competition seeking original fiction about students’ life in the era of COVID-19. The students were asked to look at the adversity, resilience, sadness, and hope felt throughout the pandemic and create a short story based on the theme of ‘A COVID-19 Story.’ The three best entries were rewarded with a prize of RM1000 (no 1), RM700 (no 2) and RM500 (no 3). All the stories were compiled and published as an ebook.ms_IN
