The fundamental features and user interfaces of beginner-friendly CAD software are explained in this e-book, which begins with an introduction to CAD/CAM ideas and their importance to the industry. Users can generate and change 3D models, define machining processes in CAM, and establish comprehensive CAD/CAM work flows with the aid of practical projects and step-by-step instructions. In order to comprehend CAD/CAM's function in contemporary manufacturing, readers will acquire hands-on experience in tool path creation, G-code generation, and production process simulation.</description>

Abstract: Wireless communication systems are technologies that allow for the&#xD;
transmission of data over a distance without the use of physical&#xD;
cables or wires. These systems use electromagnetic waves to send&#xD;
information from one point to another. There are several key&#xD;
components and concepts involved in wireless communication&#xD;
systems. Key components for wireless communication are&#xD;
Transmitter, Receiver, Antennas and Channel or Transmission&#xD;
Medium. Transmitter converts data into an electromagnetic signal&#xD;
suitable for transmission. The receiver captures the transmitted&#xD;
signal and converts it back into the original data. Both transmitters&#xD;
and receivers use antennas to convert electrical signals into&#xD;
electromagnetic waves and vice versa. Channel is the medium&#xD;
through which the signal travels. This could be air, free space, or&#xD;
another transmission medium. Example of Wireless Communications&#xD;
System applications are Bluetooth and Radio Frequency Identification&#xD;
(RFID). Bluetooth is a short-range communication technology used&#xD;
for exchanging data between devices over short distances, typically&#xD;
up to 100 meters. RFID is a technology used to automatically identify&#xD;
and track objects, animals, or people using radio waves. Besides that,&#xD;
categories of Wireless Communication are WPAN, WLAN, WMAN and&#xD;
WWAN.</description>

Abstract: This volume contains the technical writing of final year project which participated and present their work in the Mini-Conference on Petrochemical Engineering Volume 2, 2024, which was organized by Unit Projek Pelajar and co-organized the Unit Penyelidikan, Inovasi dan Komersialan, Jabatan Kejuruteraan Petrokimia, Politeknik Kuching Sarawak. The technical writing theme was centered on the field of Petrochemical Engineering, which is required by course requirements for DGP50242. The Journal of Petrochemical Engineering's main goal is to provide a platform for final-year students, lecturers, and researchers at the Department of Petrochemical Engineering, Politeknik Kuching Sarawak to contribute and share their knowledge, information, new ideas, and experience in person with their peers for anticipated research and innovation in the Petrochemical Engineering field. This platform will help the participants, especially final-year students, and lecturers establish their technical research papers. We hope that the Journal of Petrochemical Engineering outcomes will result in significant contributions to the knowledge base and research exposure in related fields.</description>
