Abstract: Modern high-tech machinery and equipment are necessary to complete the jobs and&#xD;
make life easier. The smart home is one of these systems equipped with home&#xD;
appliances that wish to control smartly from anywhere. The study's objectives are to&#xD;
design users with the convenience of controlling their home appliances, develop the&#xD;
sensor using Blynk apps, and evaluate the efficiency and functionality of the sensor by&#xD;
using the Blynk apps. This study highlights the development of the NEXHOME smart&#xD;
home prototype, which integrates advanced technologies like NodeMCU ESP 32,&#xD;
solenoid door locks, and ultrasonic sensors controlled via the Blynk app. The prototype&#xD;
aims to revolutionize traditional household functionalities by integrating cutting-edge&#xD;
technology to enhance home living experiences. A new mechanism has been introduced&#xD;
to leverage mobile phone services to communicate with and control home appliances&#xD;
and make our homes smart. Additionally, this system has an ultrasonic distance sensor&#xD;
installed, which detects motion if someone tries to enter the door without authorization&#xD;
and notifies the user using the Blynk app. The system enhances home automation by&#xD;
improving convenience, security, and energy efficiency. With a growing elderly&#xD;
population, smart home technologies are essential for improving the quality of life&#xD;
through better safety, comfort, and healthcare. The systematic coding approach ensures&#xD;
seamless device interaction, providing a truly effective and user-friendly smart home&#xD;
solution. The feedback from the questionnaire responses underscores the importance of&#xD;
addressing key areas for improvement, including user-friendliness, energy&#xD;
conservation, security, integration of IoT technology, sustainability promotion, and user&#xD;
education.
Description: In this globalization era, controlling home appliances using a mobile phone is&#xD;
a revolutionary concept made possible through the Internet of Things (IoT) technology.&#xD;
With IoT, every object can be connected to the internet and communicate with each&#xD;
other, enabling seamless control and automation. Traditionally, controlling home&#xD;
appliances required physical interaction or the use of remote controls. However, with&#xD;
the advent of IoT, homeowners can now conveniently manage their devices from&#xD;
anywhere using their smartphones.&#xD;
&#xD;
Integrating IoT into home appliances allows users to remotely switch on/off&#xD;
lights, adjust thermostats, control security systems, monitor energy usage, and much&#xD;
more. This level of control provides convenience, enhances energy efficiency, improves&#xD;
security, and creates a personalized user experience. By connecting appliances to a&#xD;
central smart hub or directly to the internet via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity, users&#xD;
can access and control their devices through dedicated mobile applications. These apps&#xD;
enable real-time monitoring and adjustment of appliance settings based on personal&#xD;
preferences or predefined schedules.&#xD;
&#xD;
Furthermore, IoT-enabled home appliances often have built-in sensors that&#xD;
collect data about usage patterns or environmental conditions. This data can then be&#xD;
used for further analysis to optimize performance mance or provide intelligent energy&#xD;

Malangnya, jenayah ini semakin menjadi-jadi dan menimbulkan kebimbangan.&#xD;
Sebab utama untuk isu ini adalah kerana tiada sistem keselamatan yang betul&#xD;
membuatkan penduduk sedar akan kehadiran pencuri. Objektif kajian adalah untuk&#xD;
mereka bentuk sistem untuk mencegah rompakan dan kehadiran orang luar dan&#xD;
penjenayah di dalam kawasan perumahan pada waktu yang tidak teratur, untuk&#xD;
membangunkan prototaip alat penggera keselamatan laser menggunakan teknologi&#xD;
IR 4.0 dan untuk menilai keberkesanan dan kebolehfungsian prototaip alat penggera&#xD;
keselamatan laser. Prototaip Alat Penggera Keselamatan Laser (LSAB) mewakili&#xD;
pendekatan yang canggih dan berkesan dalam keselamatan perimeter, menggunakan&#xD;
teknologi laser untuk mengesan dan bertindak balas terhadap potensi pencerobohan&#xD;
dengan pantas dan dapat dipercayai. LSAB mengukuhkan pertahanan terhadap&#xD;

ABSTRACT&#xD;
&#xD;
In recent years, home robbery cases in Malaysia have increased.&#xD;
Unfortunately, these crimes are becoming more violent and alarming. The main&#xD;
reason for this issue is that no proper security system makes the residents aware of&#xD;
the thief. The objectives of the study are to design a system to prevent robberies and&#xD;
the presence of outsiders and intruders inside the housing area at uneven times, to&#xD;
develop a prototype of the laser security alarm beam using IR 4.0 technology, and to&#xD;
evaluate the efficiency and the functionality of the prototype of the laser security&#xD;
alarm beam. The Laser Security Alarm Beam (LSAB) prototype represents an&#xD;
advanced and effective approach to perimeter security, employing laser technology&#xD;
to detect and respond to potential intrusions swiftly and reliably. The LSAB fortifies&#xD;
defenses against intrusions and enables seamless monitoring of movements in and out&#xD;
of the house from remote locations. This project addresses the immediate need for&#xD;
enhanced security and sets a precedent for effectively leveraging technology to tackle&#xD;
societal challenges. The overwhelming positive feedback on its user-friendly design&#xD;
and performance compared to traditional security measures highlights its potential as&#xD;
a practical solution to the critical issue of household security. The general enthusiasm&#xD;
for features like real-time intruder detection and easy interaction with IoT platforms&#xD;
was particularly striking, indicating that the prototype could bring a new era of smart&#xD;
and proactive home security solutions. The development of the LSAB represents a&#xD;
significant achievement in security technology. Through collective efforts in diligent&#xD;
research, meticulous design, and rigorous testing, it has successfully constructed a&#xD;
prototype that effectively detects intrusions and safeguards the designated area. The&#xD;

beams, the system enhances its coverage area, making it more difficult for intruders to&#xD;

in security systems are typically invisible to the naked eye. This stealthy approach adds&#xD;
an extra layer of security, as intruders may not even realize they've triggered an alarm.&#xD;

Abstract: The primary aim of this project is to build a wireless smoke detector that can be used to&#xD;
detect little or large fires in residential areas through an application. Whether the user is&#xD;
in close proximity to the radar or not, this gadget is crucial in providing a fire warning.&#xD;
This project offers an additional option in which all device access numbers can be&#xD;
shared by users, irrespective of their relationships with family or close friends. This&#xD;
prototype was developed since the majority of home fire incidents are the result of their&#xD;
being no warning signs or other information regarding the fire until it breaks out without&#xD;
the victim's knowledge. However, this home fire incidents can be prevented using this&#xD;
gadget. Furthermore, the project has the potential to reduce the number of deaths related&#xD;
to fire incidents. Numerous mechanical and practical theories are applied in the process&#xD;
of creating a smoke detector through this application, depending on the user's suitability&#xD;
because this design project involves the use of design software, such as coding, the&#xD;
Blynk programme, fundamental engineering calculations, and problem identification&#xD;
and solving. t It offers numerous chances to expand knowledge and experience.&#xD;
Nonetheless, there are still areas for improvement and possibility for this project to&#xD;
progress in a way that aligns with the goals of this design-build. All things considered,&#xD;
this application's wireless smoke detector can function well and have a great impact on&#xD;
users.Tujuan utama projek ini adalah untuk membina pengesan asap tanpa wayar yang boleh&#xD;
digunakan untuk mengesan kebakaran kecil atau besar di kawasan kediaman melalui&#xD;
aplikasi. Sama ada pengguna berada berdekatan dengan radar atau tidak, alat ini penting&#xD;
dalam memberikan amaran kebakaran. Projek ini menawarkan pilihan tambahan di&#xD;
mana semua nombor akses peranti boleh dikongsi oleh pengguna lain, tidak kira dengan&#xD;
keluarga atau rakan rapat. Prototaip ini dibangunkan memandangkan kebanyakan&#xD;
kejadian kebakaran rumah adalah akibat tiada tanda amaran atau maklumat lain&#xD;
mengenai kebakaran sehingga ia berlaku tanpa pengetahuan mangsa. Namun, kejadian&#xD;

Description: One of the biggest challenges abroad is fires in residential areas. In other&#xD;
circumstances, there are a lot of horrific fatalities which take place in residential areas.&#xD;
People who live in residences, especially those with overwhelming gas and electric&#xD;
usage, are highly at risk of this. These incidents may result in damage to the&#xD;
environment, structures, and humans. There are frequent fires in this area because of&#xD;
short circuits, gas leaks, and so on.&#xD;
&#xD;
In March 2023, a fire incident happened at Kampung Sabak Awor, Muar. The fire&#xD;
chronology is due to a short circuit. Fire incidents have become a critical issue, which&#xD;
must be dealt with on time without any unnecessary delay to avoid the loss of lives and&#xD;
belongings. Fires usually occur in homes because of carelessness and changes in&#xD;
environmental conditions. They cause threats to the residential community and may&#xD;
result in human death and property damage.&#xD;
&#xD;
Fire hazard in buildings can be defined as the potential of accidental or intentional fire&#xD;
to threaten a building's life, structural, and property safety. With rapid development&#xD;
across the globe, fire hazards in buildings have undergone significant transformation in&#xD;
terms of severity and versatility and have become a growing concern in recent years.&#xD;

Sometimes, these incidents are more destructive when the fire spreads to the&#xD;
surroundings. Early detection of a fire event is an effective way to save lives and reduce&#xD;
property damage. The fire must be detected initially to escape a fiery place and douse&#xD;
the fire source. The installation of a fire alarm system is the most convenient way to&#xD;
detect a fire early and avoid losses. fire alarms consist of different devices working&#xD;
together that can detect fire and alert people through visual and audio appliances.&#xD;
Consequently, house fires must be detected early to prevent these types of threats. The&#xD;
immediate notification of a fire is the most critical issue in domestic fire detection&#xD;
systems.&#xD;

A Wireless Sensor Network consists of a huge number of sensor nodes and is a set of&#xD;
hundreds or thousands of micro sensor nodes that have capabilities of sensing,&#xD;
establishing wireless communication between each other, and doing computational and&#xD;
&#xD;
processing operations Wireless Sensor Networks (WS) consist of tiny, cheap, and low-&#xD;
power sensor devices that can sense the environment and can provide real-time fire&#xD;
&#xD;
detection with high accuracy. A wireless sensor network is a network in which a large&#xD;
number of sensors are deployed and data is collected from them and sent to a particular&#xD;

Not only that, but to address this problem, this study aims to implement a smart fire&#xD;
detection system that would not only detect the fire using integrated sensors but also&#xD;
alert property owners, emergency services, and local police stations to protect lives and&#xD;

is applied in many applications ranging from the smart industry and smart agriculture&#xD;

Abstract: Water scarcity is a pressing global challenge aggravated by factors such as population&#xD;
growth, urbanization, and climate change. Despite the indispensable nature of water for&#xD;
life, it is often taken for granted and wasted. This project responds to the urgent need for&#xD;
innovative solutions to conserve water and optimize its usage, particularly in the face of&#xD;
&#xD;
escalating demand. The project focuses on integrating solar energy, a renewable and non-&#xD;
polluting resource, into water management systems to enhance sustainability. Solar&#xD;
&#xD;
energy, being abundant and environmentally friendly, stands out as a promising solution&#xD;
in the 21st century. By alerting users through alarm sounds or varied light colors when&#xD;
water levels are too high or low, the system serves as an effective tool for water&#xD;
conservation. Particularly, in construction sites and rural areas where energy resources&#xD;
are limited, this project seeks to provide a simple yet effective solution. Aiming to ease&#xD;
water access for construction work while minimizing waste and reducing pollution&#xD;
associated with energy generation, the project incorporates Computer Aided Design&#xD;
(CAD) for precision and efficiency. The project's primary objectives include designing&#xD;
the product using CAD, developing a Smart Water Tank integrated with a water level&#xD;
detector and solar panel, and rigorously testing the system's effectiveness. The results&#xD;
showed the system was highly effective, with a mean score of 1.7 for question 9 and the&#xD;
lowest score of 1.2 for question 5. The findings have implications for the development of&#xD;
smart water detection systems and provide a deeper understanding of the system's&#xD;
effectivenessThe exploration encompasses the installation of sensors, network&#xD;
connectivity, data analysis, and thorough testing and refinement of the system.&#xD;
Ultimately, this project not only addresses immediate concerns related to water wastage&#xD;
but also contributes to a broader understanding of how technology can be harnessed to&#xD;
promote sustainable water management in the face of escalating global water challenges.&#xD;
The results of the study found that we successfully used CADD to design a prototype.&#xD;
Next, we succeeded in developing a combination of solar and water tanks to be used as a&#xD;
smart water tank. Finally, we successfully tested the prototype to be used at the&#xD;
construction site as a result of the findings of the study by the public based on mean score&#xD;
obtained which is 70, 60, and 50.Kekurangan air merupakan cabaran global yang mendesak yang diburukkan lagi oleh&#xD;

inovatif untuk menjimatkan air dan mengoptimumkan penggunaannya, terutamanya&#xD;
dalam menghadapi permintaan yang semakin meningkat. Projek ini memberi tumpuan&#xD;
kepada penyepaduan tenaga suria, sumber yang boleh diperbaharui dan tidak&#xD;
mencemarkan, ke dalam sistem pengurusan air untuk meningkatkan kemampanan.&#xD;
